    Tony Wells #40 * #40 Bomber takes Final Lap

    Anthony Dean Wells, 53, of Minford, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2010.
    Born April 12, 1957, in Scioto County, a son of Clarence F. Wells of Minford and the late Ollie Gene (McGlone) Wells, he was a graduate of Minford High School, retired from the New Boston Coke Corporation, was a member of the New Boston Eagles, and was a Air Force veteran. He was an avid dirt track race car driver of the No. 40 car.

    IN MEMORY OF VADIS ANDERSON

    Vadis Edmond Anderson, 81, of Lucasville, died Wednesday, July 14, 2010.
    He was born June 2, 1929 in Virgie, Ky., a son of the late Russell and Lillie Tackett Anderson.
    He was a retired Maintenance Welder from General Motors with 31 years of service. Vadis 'Fadeaway' Anderson #33 was a regular on the stock car racing scene, racing, and owning, dating back to the 50’s.
